On 11th July 2023, IDECO launched a transformative menstrual support initiative at Akrowa D/A Primary School in Kumasi, Ghana, aimed at breaking barriers and restoring dignity for young girls. As part of the program, IDECO donated sanitary pads and other basic necessities to the students, ensuring they have the resources needed to manage menstruation with comfort and confidence.

The initiative also provided hygiene education and emotional support to tackle the stigma surrounding menstruation. By empowering young girls to stay in school and focus on their education, IDECO is fostering equality and helping them embrace their full potential.

IDECO calls on donors and partners to support this vital cause. By contributing, we can continue to uplift young women, support the mirth surrounding menstruation, and ensure no girl is left behind due to societal or biological barriers. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
